Women's Snipe Circuit #3
September 15, 2001Despite a trying week the gals of Fleet 495 managed to pull together a great turnout for our 3rd event of the season. The breeze was great at around 8-10 knots. PRO Gavin O'Hare did a great job at getting off 6 races for the Snipes and 5 races for the Lidos. In all we had 8 snipes and 4 lidos participating in the event. Holly O'Hare and Laurel O'Neill managed to pull out the victory in the Snipe Fleet with pretty consistent finishes. New mom Alex Brown was a close 2nd with her husband Matt and baby Matticus cheering from ashore. Junior Alexa Kownacki and Dad Eric had 4 bullets to win for the Ladies Lido Fleet. Way to Go! Thanks to all for your support especially Carolyn Brown for gathering trophies and food for the event.
