What a beautiful day on Mission Bay! We had near perfect conditions Sat. with winds at 10-12 knots most of the day. The starts were key to the finishes with Carolyn Brown and Barb Tillson dominating the women's fleet and Shelly and Jorge Suarez dominating the Jill/Jack.
All competitors had a great time and looking forward to the next event. Thanks to PRO Gavin O'Hare and his crew of Tucker Gilliam, Eric Krebs, Guy Raffee, and Dave from DC for getting in 6 great races. Also, thanks to Jerome, Bob, and Billy who helped the gals with rigging and launching. We had a decent turnout for the fleet meeting including some new faces. Thanks to all for bringing stuff. Especially, Laurel O'Neill for getting things organized and Neil Senturia for his donation toward the food. A good time was had by all. See you at the Cachuma! Next women's event is the Chrysler regatta in February. Check back for details in the near future.
