2001 Lune de Snipe This year's Lune de Snipe fundraiser to benefit Women's Snipe sailing went off without a hitch. No spillage just a few misorders. Just a few extras that the kitchen staff consumed. All seemed to have a great time. A few quotes for the evening... "Are you sure you made a reservation?", "I didn't order that?", "This $3.99 wine is not bad?", "Can I get a swan?", "Just give them some more bread." and my favorite... "Check it out...my oven mit is on fire." "Hey...that's my new oven mit." Without the support of Fleet 495, friends, family, and donations we never would have pulled it off. This year we served 67 dinners and raised over $1300 for Women's Snipe Sailing. Now we have to figure out how to spend it. You'll be sure to be included in the fun.
